An aircraft handler uses a tiller bar to steer a TA-4J Skyhawk aircraft (TW-3 TA-4J 156912, C-410) toward one of the catapults on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS FORRESTAL (CV 59). The FORRESTAL will assume the role of the Navy's training carrier in early 1992, taking over for the auxiliary aircraft landing training ship USS LEXINGTON (AVT 16).
